The Guitar Center, best known for its more than 100 retail outlets across the country, has pledged $100,000 in each of the next two years to underwrite the New West Symphony’s Young Artists Concerts series.
The gift is the largest in the orchestra’s eight-year history. It will fund programs for young musicians selected by auditions from Ventura County, Malibu and the western San Fernando Valley.
