Boy, 15, Hospitalized in Parking Garage Plunge

A 15-year-old boy fell from the second story of a parking structure at Del Amo Fashion Center on Thursday and was taken to a trauma center, authorities said.
Firefighters were called to the eastern edge of the mall, at 3525 Carson St., just after 6 p.m., Torrance Fire Capt. Robert Millea said.
There was no word on the teen’s condition.
Millea said the second story is 16 to 20 feet high. “It’s a pretty far fall,†he said.
