Mick and Ozzy on the mend

The long, hot summer continues for a couple of veteran rockers who are under the weather. Mick Jagger and Ozzy Osbourne both canceled more shows this week because they’re ailing.
The Rolling Stones skipped a concert Wednesday in Amsterdam, the last of six concerts in Holland, because Jagger came down with a sore throat. Laryngitis was cited as the cause of a show the Stones canceled recently in Spain.
Meanwhile, following Ozzy Osbourne’s half-mumbled, half-croaked version of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” at a Dodgers-Cubs game over the weekend in Chicago, the loopy hard rocker bowed out of his third Ozzfest show this summer. An Osbourne spokesman said an undisclosed illness caused Osbourne to miss Tuesday’s tour stop in Holmdel, N.J. Rock group Korn took over the headliner spot.
