More than 2,000 suspected fighting cocks were seized after law enforcement officers stormed breeding grounds in Napa County.

No one was arrested in Friday’s bust, which followed a lengthy investigation.

One man was detained for questioning. His name was not released.

Agents also confiscated firearms and cockfighting paraphernalia.

Officials said charges would be filed, once the birds’ owners were identified.
