They’ll be dressed to the nines -- formal jackets, bow ties, starched white dress shirts -- and matching strap-on metal muzzles.
And they’re coming to a street near you -- relatively speaking. “We walk,” Polish performance artist Wladyslaw Kazmierczak explains, “through city streets, like tourists, looking very European” -- save for those metal muzzles.

The pair are part of the fifth annual Full Nelson International Performance Art Festival, being held at the Del Mar Theater on Friday and Saturday. Artists from the United Kingdom, Finland, Chile, Canada, Denmark, France and Mexico as well as the U.S. will appear. And like Kazmierczak and Rybska, most have their own specialty.
Performances will take place on two levels, while video monitors feature the Polish artists’ street walk and the work of countless other performers.
