What About Neil Finn?

In response to Steve Hochman’s “Maybe ‘Rising’ Refers to Grammy Fever” (Pop Eye, Sept. 1), I’d like to suggest to him and his Grammy voters and journalists that they take the time to listen to Neil Finn’s “One All.”
If there were an award for most overlooked and overdue artist, Finn would be the runaway winner. And if Grammys were given out based solely on artistic merit (call me an idealist), “One All,” a pop masterpiece, would be 2002’s album of the year.
