Smokers hog air in Spain
My wife and I recently returned from a two-week visit to Spain. The food was wonderful, the people were friendly, the monuments were impressive, the nightlife was phenomenal. The only negative was the out-of-control smoking by the Spaniards. On our last night in Madrid, my wife and I had to flee a well-known expensive restaurant because the incessant smoking by other patrons overwhelmed us.
We are fortunate in California to be able to enjoy restaurants, and nightclubs without clouds of cigarette smoke.
