A West New York, N.J., resident has claimed the $1-million-plus prize offered in the interactive game featured in the canceled ABC drama “Push, Nevada.”
Mark Nakamoto, 24, an assistant manager of a Manhattan publishing company, solved the series puzzle after watching the episodes and the “Final Clue” broadcast during the Oct. 28 edition of “Monday Night Football.” The clue led viewers to a series of letters taken from the episode, clues that, together with a cipher, corresponded to a telephone number. Nakamota was the first viewer to call it.
“Push, Nevada,” about a mysterious desert town, premiered in September but was quickly yanked after mixed reviews and small audiences.
