GAME OF THE WEEK

Philadelphia at Carolina, Friday, 4:30 p.m.

Coach Ken Hitchcock has the Flyers playing responsible defensive hockey and they’re off to a strong start. This will be a good test for both teams because the Hurricanes, the defending Eastern Conference champions, are playing better with Kevin Weekes starting in goal every night.
