Was His Style Sense on the Mark?

I read that men’s style consultant Martin Kedzior listed Russell Crowe’s poor sense of style tied with that of Don Knotts’ character in “Three’s Company†(“Well-Suited to His Profession,†by Michael T. Jarvis, Metropolis, April 7). I just wanted to say thank you. Some 20 years ago, as the costume designer for “Three’s Company,†I was assigned the task of finding a look for the new character on the show played by Don Knotts. The look I chose was that of an out-of-date, overdressed, self-important swinger.

Ugh. The fact that Kedzior, a snotty little know-it-all, makes his living telling people how to dress makes my head hurt. I’m glad I’m not dating him. I’d be living in a constant state of sixth grade “high-water†jean flashbacks.
