Southwest Airlines Adds Two Southland Nonstops

Southwest Airlines will add new routes to Southern California this spring. On April 7 it will begin nonstop service four times daily between Orange County’s John Wayne airport and Sacramento. Seven-day advance purchase fares begin at $118 round trip. America West also flies the route.
On May 5 Southwest will begin nonstop service three times daily between LAX and Chicago’s Midway Airport. Introductory seven-day advance purchase fares, which must be bought by May 5, begin at $178 round trip. American Trans Air also flies the route.
