Win-Win Situation

There’s a simple solution to the gym versus “art park� debate in Little Tokyo (June 22). Make the gym earth-covered and build the art park on top. I’ve been trying to get the city of Long Beach to do this with a police station it wants to build on parkland. By building an earth-covered station, it would lose no parkland.
