Arrest Made After Slain Man Found on Sidewalk

A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder in the fatal beating of a 50-year-old Anaheim man early Saturday morning, police said.
About 12:30 a.m., Anaheim police found David Sanchez unconscious with face and head injuries on the sidewalk on West Lincoln Avenue, said Police Sgt. Rick Martinez. Paramedics declared him dead at the scene.
Interviews with witnesses led police to arrest Victor Duran at 5:40 a.m. at a friend’s home in Cypress, Martinez said.
Police have not determined a motive for the attack.
