Man Shot in Head After Robbery at Video Store

Joseph Ray Paul II, 31, suffered severe brain damage after he was shot in the head Sunday night while standing outside a South-Central video store Sunday night that had just been robbed, police said.
One of two armed robbers ran out of the store and fired one round, striking Paul in the back of the head, police said. He was taken to King-Drew Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition Monday.
