Witty Is Game No Matter the Season

Versatile Chris Witty, the Wisconsin Olympic cyclist and speedskater who now lives in Park City, Utah, has a chance to step up one rung on the victory stand today, when she competes in the 1,000-meter race.

She won a silver in the 1,000 and a bronze in the 1,500 in Nagano in 1998, making her the only U.S. competitor to win two medals in the ’98 Games. She is also only the ninth American to compete in both Summer and Winter Games. She was a cyclist in Sydney in 2000.
