Viacom to Pay Ex-UPN Chief Executive

Viacom Inc.’s UPN agreed to pay an undisclosed amount to Dean Valentine, the network’s former president and chief executive, to settle his claims he was owed as much as $22 million under an employment contract.
Valentine and the fifth-biggest television network filed their notice of settlement in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
