Verizon Wireless, the nation’s largest wireless operator, announced it will be offering a new national rate plan that will allow customers to use their cell phones on Verizon networks nationwide.
The company said the new rate plan, called America’s Choice, eventually will replace its current regional plan.
The plan, which offers wider geographic coverage, costs $35 for 300 minutes, comparable with its regional plan.
Customers also can get plans with more minutes, such as a 3,000-minute plan for $200.
