From Times Wire Reports
A gunman robbed an armored car company’s office, tying up two guards and getting away with about $1.9 million, the company’s owner said.
The robbery occurred at the downtown Rutland office of Berkshire Armored Car Services Inc., said owner Jerry Reder.
No one was injured but officials said a driver in a getaway car may have been waiting nearby.
Insurance investigators were working with the FBI and local police, Reder said.
Reder said he did not know how many people were in the building at the time of the robbery.
