No Free Parking at New Shopping Center

Free parking has long been one of the benefits of shopping in the Bay Area suburbs. Until now.
When shoppers arrive at the new Bay Street center’s main parking garage, they are met with a sign that says: “Grand opening special -- $1 flat rate.â€
Soon, shoppers will be charged $1 for the first two hours, plus $1 for each additional 30 minutes.
Moviegoers will get parking validation good for four hours for $1.
