Housing starts rise 2.4% in November

U.S. housing starts were up 2.4% in November to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.7 million units, according to figures released Tuesday by the Commerce Department.
The monthly rise in starts took an upturn from October’s sharp decline of 11.4%, which was the biggest monthly drop since January 1994.
