Full Schedule of Holiday Events Opens Friday
Oxnard will offer several holiday events starting this week.
A tree-lighting ceremony will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Plaza Park in downtown Oxnard.
At 10 a.m. Saturday, a holiday parade will begin at 9th and A streets, proceed along A Street to 3rd Street, then onto B Street and head south, ending at Plaza Park.
Later that day, the annual Parade of Lights will begin at 7 p.m. in Channel Islands Harbor.
Christmas Tree Lane runs on F and G streets between 5th and 1st streets from Dec. 15 to 26.
