Kacy Red Goes for Sixth Victory in Row

Kacy Red, a 4-year-old Utah-bred mare owned by Margarito Farias and trained by Jorge Farias, will try to continue her hot streak this evening.

The daughter of Splash Bac has rattled off five consecutive victories since Feb. 14 and will try to make it six in a row in the seventh, a $13,450 allowance at 350 yards.

After losing by a nose to Hi Noble on Jan. 26, Kacy Red started her streak on Valentine’s Day with a neck decision over $7,500 claimers and has moved up the ladder for a barn that is winning at about 25% for the meet.
