Man Sought in Slaying of Ex-Girlfriend’s Mother

Police continue to search for a suspected gang member who they believe killed his ex-girlfriend’s mother and shot her younger sister.
Rodolfo Diaz, 25, allegedly shot and killed Irma Gaxiola, 40, and critically wounded Alejandra Cerecer, 18, about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, said Det. Rudy Flores of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Diaz’s ex-girlfriend, Miriam Cerecer, was not hurt. They had been dating for three years and had a young daughter, Flores said.
