Water Division Joins in Toilet Giveaway

To help conserve water, Oxnard’s water division has joined Calleguas Municipal Water District and the Metropolitan Water District to distribute free low-flush toilets to residents.
Last year, the division gave away 2,000 of the water-saving toilets and expects to pass out 3,000 this month.
Interested residents are asked to make an appointment with the division this month and promise to install the new toilet and return their old one within four weeks.
Appointments can be made online at www.oxnardwater.org or call 385-8136. Sign-up forms are also available at City Hall and the main public library.
