I was sad to read that writer Gary Polakovic found the Paradise Cafe “disappointing†(“Santa Barbara, Naturally,†Weekend Escape, Sept. 9). I have lived in Santa Barbara for 53 years, and if asked where to go for dinner, I would respond “the Paradise.†My wife and I have found no place that compares.
