The Dead
In the wake of the Sept. 11 hijackings and terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, here is the list of names of those identified as confirmed dead since Sept. 22 by the Defense Department and the New York City coroner’s office. This list updates accounts that appeared in The Times on Sept. 16 and Sept. 23. More than 5,600 people remain unaccounted for.
