Evan Burns, a 6-foot-8 forward from Los Angeles Fairfax High who’s considered the top senior basketball prospect in the state, has committed to UCLA.
Burns, who averaged 23 points last season, had a home visit with Bruin Coach Steve Lavin on Monday and decided to end the recruiting process.
Coach Harvey Kitani calls Burns the most complete player he’s had in 20 years at Fairfax. Burns was an All-City selection last season. He still must take the SAT in October.
