Weekend Lineup of Tours, Workshops to Explore Craftsman Style
A fall advisory calls for walking shoes and maybe even hard hats for the first weekend in October for the Pasadena Heritage 10th Anniversary Craftsman Weekend.
The Arts and Crafts movement will be the subject of the events Oct. 5-7, with receptions and tours at various locales, including Gamble House on Oct. 5.
The rest of the weekend will include docent-led tours of six fully restored Craftsman-style homes as well as a separate “Hard Hat†tour at the Samuel Merrill House, where experts will outline restoration plans.
Also, two “Hard Hat†half-day workshops for people seeking in-depth information about renovating in the Craftsman style will be available Oct. 6 at the Greene & Greene Emma Black House.
Ticket prices vary depending on the event. Call (626) 441-6333 or check out https://www.pasadenaheritage.org for information.
