Schwarzenegger Can Take Efforts a Step Further
Regarding the City of Angles (Oct. 16) about Arnold Schwarzenegger’s address to eighth-graders in Compton: I salute his efforts to reach children and help them achieve their potential.
I remember when he was the chairman of the President’s Council on Physical Fitness. He said: “Working with children who need help achieving their goals and dreams is by far the most significant job I have ever had.â€
Has he thought of taking a small number of underachieving children under his wing, offering to be a mentor? He may truly turn someone around.
