No. 4 Loyola (5-0) vs. No. 13 Santa Margarita (4-1-1) at Saddleback College, Friday, 7:30 p.m.
Loyola scored a 21-11 victory over Servite last week but the Cubs were hardly impressive, and Santa Margarita will be trying to avoid the offensive mistakes made by Servite that allowed Loyola two second-half touchdowns. One key for Loyola will be the performance of quarterback Adam Gonzalez, who rallied from a sluggish first-half performance by rushing for 51 yards and completing five of seven passes in the second half. Santa Margarita’s Ashton White is averaging 165 yards total offense.
