Vandals Deface War Deportation Museum
From Times Wire Reports
Vandals spray-painted swastikas and Jewish stars overnight on the buildings of a museum commemorating the Nazi deportation camp of Westerbork near the Dutch city of Assen, the museum said.
“It’s the first time this has happened in the 20-year history of the center,†museum director Dierk Mulder said, adding that nearby trees and signposts had been painted with letters signifying White Power.
About 107,000 Dutch Jews, including Anne Frank, passed through the camp during World War II.
