Social Security Cartoon

I’m sure Paul Conrad thought he was being very clever with his picture of Air Force One flying in to destroy Social Security (Commentary, Oct. 3). But his timing is extremely bad. We have more immediate problems facing us for now, and we don’t need a picture like that just so Conrad can get his 15 minutes of fame.

I have one question for Conrad: What if the government mailed out all of the Social Security checks and there was no one there to receive them?
