Golden West Puts Its Volleyball Title on Line
Defending champion Golden West is among eight teams vying for the state women’s community college volleyball championship beginning Friday at Pasadena City College. Golden West (18-3) plays Butte (21-2) in an opening-round game of the double-elimination tournament.
Other matchups include Sequoias (13-5) against Moorpark (18-3); Orange Coast (21-1) against Yuba (14-4) and San Joaquin Delta (23-0) against El Camino (21-4).
The tournament runs through Sunday.
