Woman Crushed as Husband Backs Truck

A Riverside woman was accidentally crushed to death Tuesday as her husband was backing a big rig into a loading dock, police said.
The couple, both 28, were delivering a load of electronic equipment about 7 a.m. in the 1000 block of State College Boulevard, Fullerton Police Sgt. Steve Matson said. The woman was standing behind the 40-foot-long truck to guide her husband as he backed into the dock, Matson said.
The woman was pinned between the truck and a parked rig. The driver of the second truck jumped out and alerted the husband that he had run over someone.
The woman died at the scene.
