‘Small Town, Online

“Toto, We Are Still in Kansas” (Nov. 12) was very interesting. I’m sure many of us oldsters who grew up in small places and left will find the nostalgia comforting. I left in 1951 and never looked back on a small town of 2,000 in central Illinois. A year ago I was notified of a Web site about my birthplace. It was started by Dave Uphoff and is a first-rate site that has drawn about 40,000 hits already.
If you have a few minutes, log on: https://www.minonktalk.com . It will take many more minutes to read and see all the pictures, stories and nostalgia about a little town that I was fortunate enough to grow up in.
