Send Her Downtown

Could you send Patricia Neal, the woman who started a Yup-wardly mobile latte shop in Eagle Rock (“Mayberry, Shmayberry,” by Dave Gardetta, July 29) and who said about my town, “The feng shui of Eagle Rock is just not working for me,” the article about the changing downtown area (“Alternative L.A.,” by Kevin Roderick, Sept. 30)? Maybe she could “feng” her perfect little self over there and leave my town a place that I can come home to, rather than try to turn it into a place where other people come to shop.
