Smooth Oversight

In Don Heckman’s Perspective (“Smooth Jazz but Bland Radio,” Oct. 28), he failed to mention Ramsey Lewis’ “Legends of Jazz” program every Sunday morning on KTWV-FM. Lewis plays a real mainstream jazz show peppered with historical comments.

I’m shocked that the Wave allows this program to air. Who knows? One of the great tunes played on this program could fall into the wrong hands, and it might end up on their playlist.
