T.J. Simers has finally lost it. He went over the edge in his column (“He’s One Leading Chant of ‘Let’s Go Raider Fans,’ †May 23).
Simers called Oakland Raider owner Al Davis: 1) a bully, 2) a whiny loser and 3) a liar. Simers underestimates Davis. The Raider owner is a fighter. Losing his latest lawsuit is just a bump in the road for Davis. Does Simers think Davis is going to take the loss lying down? Davis will come up with something brilliant, something with which to torment the media, NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue and the good citizens of Los Angeles and Oakland. Simers has not heard the last of Al Davis.
