Pepsi Bottling Group Inc. said it will break ground this week on a $21.2-million expansion of its Riverside plant, adding 40,000 square feet of warehouse space.
The largest distributor of Pepsi-Cola beverages said the expansion was driven by high sales of its bottled water, Aquafina, and its juice drink FruitWorks.
The expansion of the plant, now 230,000 square feet, is expected to be completed by Labor Day and create a dozen full-time jobs initially.
