In the Southern Section badminton individual championships:
Villa Park doubles up--It was an all-Villa Park affair in mixed doubles at the Orange County Badminton Club.
Top-seeded May Mangkalakiri and Raymond Wong scored a 15-13, 15-9 victory, beating fellow Spartans Connie Hwang and Eric Go, the third-seeded team.
“My partners are always real good and that’s always an advantage,” said Mangkalakiri.
