No. 8 Rosary 4, Fullerton 3--Evie Loreto singled home Randi Guerra with the winning run in the top of the seventh for the Royals (7-5). Fullerton is 6-5.
Santa Ana 5, Laguna Beach 4 (11)--Gracy Delgadillo scored the winning run on an error in the 11th for Santa Ana (7-6). Michelle Paz doubled and tripled for the Saints.
Sunny Hills 2, Magnolia 1--Megan Broschak singled home Heather Spraggins with the winning run in the seventh for the Lancers (3-5).
Magnolia is 3-8.
Valencia 1, Century 0 (11)--Freshman Jennifer Salazar drove in the winning run in the bottom of the 11th with a one-out single for host Valencia (7-3).
In Century League boys’ golf:
Foothill 196, El Modena 200--Wes Patterson and Mike Reinsch each shot 37 for the Knights (8-1, 5-0) at par-36 Green River. Ed McGlasson was medalist with a 35 for the Vanguards (8-2, 2-2).
In the Empire League:
El Dorado 170, Century 251--Ryan Weimer shot a one-under 31 for the Golden Hawks (6-3, 3-1) at RiverView. Angel Berber shot a 42 for Century (0-10, 0-3).
In the Orange League:
Brea Olinda 201, Valencia 206--Ryan Sader shot a one-under 36 for the Wildcats (8-1, 4-0) at Alta Vista. Valencia is 4-4, 2-1.
In the Sea View League:
Aliso Niguel 198, No. 9 Woodbridge 200--Senior Ben Adams shot a par 36 at El Niguel. Freshman Sean Shahi sank a 20-foot downhill putt on the final hole to make the difference in the match.
In the Serra League:
No. 1 Santa Margarita 190, Mater Dei 214--Junior Taylor Wood was medalist for visiting Santa Margarita (7-0, 2-0), shooting par 36 at Santa Ana Country Club.
In the Sunset League:
No. 3 Huntington Beach 188, No. 4 Esperanza 202--Andy Anderson and Gilbert Jalomo each shot 37, as five golfers finished in the 30s for the Oilers (8-0, 3-0) at par-36 SeaCliff. Jay Choe shot 37 for Esperanza (7-2, 1-2).
No. 6 Marina 182, Edison 190--Daniel Chin and Danny Baedeker of Marina and Daniel Lee of Edison all shot par 35 at Meadowlark. All 10 players on both teams were under 40. Marina is 10-0 and 3-0, Edison 5-5, 1-2.
