Lancaster 4, Highland 3--Colton Walter’s run-scoring single in the seventh inning gave the Eagles a Golden League victory at Lancaster.
Jordy Carlon allowed three hits, struck out eight and walked none in six innings. Justin Zarley (2-0) pitched the seventh.
Jose Shaw pitched a four-hitter for Highland (4-5, 1-2). He struck out none and walked four.
Hart 10, Burbank 0--John Curtis had three hits, including two doubles, and three RBIs in a Foothill League game at Hart that was halted after five innings because of the 10-run rule.
Chris Giordano had two doubles and two RBIs for Hart (10-0, 3-0), ranked No. 2 in the region by The Times.
Phil Tognetti (4-0) pitched a three-hitter with four strikeouts.
Agoura 11, Simi Valley 1--Brandon Canning threw a four-hitter and Paul Farinacci hit two doubles, including one that drove in three runs, for the Chargers (7-4, 1-1) in a Marmonte League game at Simi Valley (5-5, 1-2).
Canning (4-1) struck out two and walked one.
Burroughs 7, Valencia 3--Kyle Williams had three hits, driving in three runs with a double in the sixth for the Indians in a Foothill League victory at Burroughs.
Right-handed submariner Fidel Valdez (3-0) pitched six innings, striking out four and walking one for Burroughs (6-2, 2-1).
Valencia is 5-3, 1-2.
Saugus 6, Canyon 0--Casey Benesch (2-2) pitched a four-hitter and struck out eight in a Foothill League victory at Canyon.
Andy Warren, Garner Humphrey and Matt Hughes each had two hits for Saugus (6-3, 2-1).
Chaminade 7, Notre Dame 3--Bobby Paschal allowed no earned runs and four hits while striking out 12 in 6 2/3 innings of a Mission League victory at Pierce College.
T.J. Franco had two hits and drove in two runs for Chaminade (6-2, 3-0).
Harvard-Westlake 10, Loyola 9--Jeff Wiener’s two-out single in the eighth gave the Wolverines (4-5, 1-3) a Mission League victory at Harvard-Westlake.
Weiner (1-0) retired three batters in the top of the inning.
The Wolverines tied the score, 9-9, in the seventh when third baseman Dellaney Gallagher of Loyola booted Josh Satin’s grounder for a two-run error.
Crespi 22, St. Francis 8--Armando Contreras had four hits and three RBIs in a Mission League victory at Valley College.
Contreras pitched 2 2/3 innings of scoreless relief.
Jonathan Oller had three hits and three RBIs for Crespi (6-3, 3-1).
Glendale 5, Crescenta Valley 1--Robert Vargas pitched a four-hitter and struck out eight as the Dynamiters (5-4, 2-1) beat the Falcons for the first time in four seasons in a Pacific League game at Glendale.
Crescenta Valley committed eight errors.
Oak Park 8, Carpinteria 1--Collin Ozar struck out 12, walked one and allowed seven hits for the Eagles (3-3-1, 1-1) in a Tri-Valley League game at Oak Park.
Calabasas 4, Santa Clara 0--Justin Segal hit a two-run triple and a run-scoring single for the Coyotes (6-3, 2-0) in a Frontier League game at Calabasas.
Santa Paula 3, Nordhoff 2--Sammy Guzman hit a home run and a two-run single for the Cardinals (6-4, 2-0) in a Frontier League game at Santa Paula.
Travis Flowers of Nordhoff struck out nine in a seven-hitter, and John Reyes (2-1) struck out five in a seven-hitter for Santa Paula.
L.A. Baptist 13, Brentwood 3--Bryan Peterson hit a grand slam during an eight-run first inning of a nonleague game at L.A. Baptist (7-2).
Peterson finished with two hits and five RBIs, and Ryan Rycroft added two hits and four RBIs.
