USC Rallies for a 62-59 Victory Over Stanford
Ebony Hoffman had 21 points, including a layup with 12 seconds remaining, as USC (10-15, 5-10 in the Pacific 10) rallied from a 10-point deficit in the second half for a 62-59 victory at Stanford (15-10, 9-6). Stanford missed three shots in the closing seconds. Hoffman also had 13 rebounds while teammate Tiffany Elmore had 12 of her 14 points in the second half. . . . Kenya Corley scored a game-high 22 points as California (12-13, 8-7) completed its first series sweep of UCLA (4-25, 3-12) and had a season-high point total in an 83-59 victory at Berkeley. UCLA’s Michelle Greco, the Pac-10’s leading scorer at 19.8 points a game, scored 16--making seven of 18 shots. . . . Angelina Wolvert scored the game’s last five points for Oregon (15-11, 8-8) in a 63-56 victory over No. 22 and conference-leading Arizona State (19-8, 11-4) at Eugene, Ore. Arizona State has a half-game lead over Washington (18-7, 11-4).
