Partners: Circus and the Symphony
The circus meets the symphony in “Cirque Orchestra,†which will have its U.S. premiere Aug. 2-5 at the Irvine Barclay Theatre. Cirque Eloize of Quebec will provide the circus acts--all human, no animals--and the Pacific Symphony under conductor Mark Mandarano will accompany with music from Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Saint-Saens, Sibelius and Rachmaninoff.
