Esquire Sells Staffing Unit for $11 Million

Esquire Communications Ltd., a Santa Ana court reporting service, said Thursday it has sold its professional staffing businesses to TMP Worldwide Inc. for $11 million.

Esquire said in a news release that it turned over to its lenders all the proceeds from the sale of the assets of Esquire-Gregory Staffing Services and certain assets of Esquire Staffing Services.

Esquire Communications, which operates Esquire Deposition Services, said the remaining assets of the staffing services unit were surrendered to Antares Capital Corp., as agent for the company’s lender group, under the group’s foreclosure of its security interest in such assets. The group then sold those assets to Miller-Orchant Associates LLC.
