Video Game to Feature Veteran Actors’ Voices

Irvine video-game maker Interplay Entertainment Corp. said an all-star lineup of Hollywood veterans will handle speaking roles in RLH, a new sci-fi action game for PlayStation 2 headed for the market later this year.
The game will include voices of actors Kate Mulgrew, Michael Ironside and Lance Henriksen.
Mulgrew played Capt. Kathryn Janeway on “Star Trek: Voyager” and has hammed it up on some “Star Trek” video games as well. Ironside has appeared in such films as “Starship Troopers,” “Total Recall” and “Top Gun.” Henriksen appeared in “Aliens,” “Alien3,” “Terminator” and “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” and has made guest appearances on TV’s “X Files.”
In RLH, players will take the role of Nick, a military hero who has been exiled to a deep-space mining station. Nick returns from a routine interplanetary visit to find everyone on the station either dead or dying at the hands of brutal and intelligent aliens. Players must guide Nick through the horrific story line in an effort to survive and defeat the alien race.
