From Times Staff and Wire Reports
Two suspects rammed a police car Friday, allegedly in an attempt to escape arrest, but were later caught by scent-tracking dogs, authorities said.
As Los Angeles police officers were responding to an early morning brawl at Sepulveda Boulevard and Haynes Street in Van Nuys, the suspects crashed into the patrol car and made a break for it.
No one was injured, and the suspects, whose names were not released, were quickly caught and arrested.
Officers said they found a loaded semiautomatic weapon inside the suspects’ stolen car.
