Womanly Travel Wear
In response to a letter by Cathy Cutler (“Ineffective by Design?” May 6), in which she complains that travel clothes for women don’t have pockets: Not all women want heavy, bulky pockets in their clothes.
I prefer sleek knits that are easy to pack, wrinkle-free and can go from a bus ride to a museum to dinner and dancing. When I need to stash my room key and take money and a credit card for a quick trip out of my hotel room, I use a tiny fabric shoulder bag with a long strap that goes across my shoulder.
These are readily available in the U.S., and I’ve bought them also in other countries at street markets bazaars and street fairs.
