New ‘Worldwide Caution’ for U.S. Travelers Abroad
- Share via
The State Department on June 22 issued a new “worldwide caution” urging Americans to maintain a “high level of vigilance” when traveling abroad.
It cited the June 21 indictment of 14 suspects by a U.S. grand jury in connection with the 1996 bombing of an American military barracks in Saudi Arabia that killed 19 people.
The caution, which followed one issued May 29, is effective until Sept. 22.
