British Sub’s Sonar Entangles Navy Boat

A Coast Guard patrol boat was disabled when its propellers became entangled with a sonar cable trailing from a British Navy submarine.
The patrol boat was escorting the sub to sea about 14 miles off Port Canaveral, an official said. No more than five people were aboard the 41-foot patrol boat, and no one was injured.
Ben White of Britain’s Ministry of Defense said the incident was under investigation.
